Tiffany & Co. “Blue is the Color of Love”

BACKGROUND: In celebration of Valentine’s Day, Tiffany & Co. wanted to illuminate landmarks in its iconic “Tiffany Blue” to celebrate its “Blue is the Color of Love” campaign, which reflects on the impact that Tiffany Blue and the Blue Box have had on generations of love stories.

EXECUTION: Lit major landmarks from coast to coast in signature “Tiffany Blue”. Most notably, the Empire State Building which forwent its traditional red lighting for Valentine’s Day for the first time in history. Friend of Tiffany, Sarah Jessica Parker was on site for the official “flip of the switch” to mark the occassion and (5) select couples were treated to special engagement packages curated by Tiffany.

In addition, 30 Rockefeller Center and the Rockefeller Center Ice Rink, Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier, the Vancouver Art Gallery and Robson Square Ice Rink in Vancouver, British Columbia were all illuminated to pay tribute to these iconic landmarks that have inspired grand gestures of love throughout history - each being a true “Landmark of Love”.

To further celebrate the holiday, Tiffany & Co. hosted dedicated flower stands featuring curated floral bouquets wrapped in Tiffany paper at Rockefeller Center and Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Sourced, negotiated and secured partnerships with each property, managed all lighting, permitting, logistics coordination, on-site management and execution, content capture + editing.
